Spoken cues from the session script. The recording leaves space between these lines; pauses are part of the practice.

This session is practiced with your eyes open. Sit facing a room or a view, and let your gaze rest on one point at eye level.

Rest on the point. Do not stare at it. It is a hitching post, not a target.

Keeping your eyes still, begin to notice what is at the edges of your vision.

The edges are blurry and vague. That is their gift. Let them be seen without being looked at.

Can you see the point and the edges at the same time — the whole visual field at once, evenly?

Notice the effort draining out of your eyes. Let your face soften with them.

Can you imagine the space between your eyes and what you see — the volume of air the room is made of?

See through the space, rather than at the things. Let seeing become receiving.

If the field narrows onto some object, no problem. Find the edges again, and the width returns.

Now add your body. Can you feel the space inside you while the whole scene rests in front of you?

Inside and outside, one field. Rest here, eyes open, everything at once.

Carry this. When the bell sounds, stand up slowly, and keep the edges of the world in view a little longer.
